  • Ente, Tod und Tulpe

    Demis Volpi will direct Ente, Tod und Tulpe at Staatsoper Hannover. Based on Wolf Erlbruch’s beloved picture book and set to music by Leopold Dick, the production explores life, mortality and friendship through music, dance and theatre. Created for audiences aged five and above, it approaches one of life’s most profound questions with poetry, imagination and humour. The production will be Demis Volpi’s first collaboration with Staatsoper Hannover.

    CREATIONS XVI–XIX

    Demis Volpi will return to The Stuttgart Ballet to create a new work as part of CREATIONS XVI–XIX. The premiere marks ten years since Death in Venice, his last world premiere for the company. The return also reconnects him with a theatre that was his artistic home for fifteen years.
